The Pinecrest retirement community, located at 915 29th Avenue NE, Hickory NC, hosts a free, monthly veterans benefits seminar for vets who want to move out of their home and into a carefree retirement living life style. Thousands of veterans and surviving spouses are eligible to receive a significant monthly income from the Veterans Administration Aid & Attendance pension program. But, very few are aware these benefits exist. The seminars at Pinecrest shed light on the Aid & Attendance program, which provides eligible wartime veterans and surviving spouses up to $1,945 per month, tax-free; Free and open to the public; Refreshments to be provided.
